Mariner Sands Charity Week

A Message from Jack Flanagan,

I'm excited to share some encouraging news about the future of Charity Week and our broader charitable community here at Mariner Sands.

Recently, representatives from Charity Week, the Foundation, and the Chapel came together for a productive conversation about how our three organizations can work more closely — and more effectively — in support of our shared mission: serving those in need right here in Martin County.

The energy was positive, and the commitment was clear. We all want to do more, together.

A Great First Step: One Unified Appeal

As a meaningful first move toward greater collaboration, we've agreed that beginning this year, Charity Week, the Foundation, and the Chapel will send a single joint appeal letter to our membership — arriving just after Thanksgiving, when the spirit of giving is at its warmest.

The letter will introduce all three organizations and their missions, and — most importantly — give every Mariner Sands member the opportunity to direct their donation exactly where their heart leads, whether that's Charity Week, the Foundation, the Chapel, or all three.

More Good Things Ahead

This is just the beginning. We see real opportunities to better coordinate our events, streamline our operations, and make the experience even more rewarding for our volunteers and participants. As these conversations develop, we'll keep you in the loop every step of the way.

Thank you for your unwavering generosity and dedication. Everything we accomplish — every family housed, every child fed, every life changed — happens because of you.

With gratitude, Jack Flanagan President, Mariner Sands Charity Week
